Professor Izard was involved in the development of barcodes from the very beginning in Spain. This tool revolutionized commerce as it allowed for product tracking throughout the entire supply chain, automated processes, and expedited payments. Now, QR codes have become an extension of the product and the store to the outside world, providing information to the customer, connecting them with the establishment and its omnichannel, and helping them locate the point of sale.
Both complement each other.
