Víctor Marcial Zamora Mesía, former student, new Minister of Health of Peru

Last March, Víctor Marcial Zamora Mesía, a former student of the Online University Master's Degree in Health Economics and Pharmaeconomics, was appointed Minister of Health of Peru.

Víctor Marcial Zamora studied Medicine at the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos and also a Master in Health Administration and Policy at the Nuffield Institute at the University of Leeds in England.

He has held various previous positions in his country and in the international institutions as the United Nations Population Fund or the World Health Organization.

He has teached public health at the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos, the Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia and at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú.
