Vladimir Estivill Castro

Director of the Department of Technology at Pompeu Fabra University, professor and expert in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Robotics, and Software Engineering. He originally holds a B.Sc. in Mathematics, a M.Sc. in Education an M.Sc. in Mathematical Sciences, and a Ph.D. in Computer Science.

He has developed professionally in Mexico, the USA, Australia, Spain, and Canada as a consultant, programmer, project leader and teacher. Senior Member of the Association for Computing Machinery and the Institute for Electrical and Electronic Engineers, he has more than 200 scientific publications and several awards as best scientific paper or best robotic application at RoboCup.
