The Master of Science in International Business (Máster Universitario en Negocios Internacionales) at UPF Barcelona School of Management (UPF-BSM) has been recognized as the best in Spain by the QS International Trade Rankings 2025, a ranking that evaluates programs in the field of international business.
The UPF Barcelona School of Management (UPF-BSM) and the international professional services group ETL GLOBAL have signed a collaboration agreement aimed at developing projects related to training and knowledge generation, strengthening the connection between the school and businesses.
This is highlighted in the conclusions of a study on the social impact of the UPF Barcelona School of Management (UPF-BSM), conducted by researchers from the business school.
Among the variables used to calculate social value are the academic and professional training provided by the institution, the employability of students and their access to the job market, as well as support for entrepreneurship and innovation, among others.
50% of UPF-BSM's programs are focused on social impact; the school has 11 chairs primarily dedicated to sustainability and a dedicated Vice-Dean's Office to lead this area.
At a critical juncture for urban sustainability, the report "Natural Capital in Barcelona", published by Nactiva in collaboration with the UPF Barcelona School of Management (UPF-BSM), confirms that Barcelona has the assets to lead the global ranking of metropolitan regions focused on regenerating natural capital. According to the study, the region boasts "highly valuable Mediterranean ecosystems, expertise in public-private collaboration, innovation capacity, and attractiveness as a hub for global initiatives" to tackle the challenge.
