On 10th December the IDEC-Universitat Pompeu Fabra Alumni Association once again celebrated its annual meeting, which this year introduced a new format centred on professional networking. The event began with the talk ?Business secrets to attract and hold on to talent: best practices in Spain?, which was given by Nicolás Ramilo, general director of Great Place to Work - Institute España. The talk pointed out the best companies to work with and outlined how to attract talent to a company in order to make it the best place to work.
Later, Marc Ribas, a former IDEC MBA student and now member and consultant with Human Side, organised a networking activity through ?netgrouping?. In this activity, former students grouped together successively according to professional areas, ages or work interests in order to discover joint business opportunities between their various specialities.
