Companies such as Nestlé, Condis, Danone, Frit Ravich, and Unilever attended the business school to participate in a meeting on corporate collaboration in the consumer goods supply chain sector.

The various industry representatives analyzed the potential benefits of corporate collaboration in logistics, as well as the main barriers hindering such collaboration and possible solutions to overcome them. Among the benefits of corporate collaboration in the supply chain, greater efficiency and productivity were highlighted, as well as fostering innovation and promoting sustainable practices. On the other hand, the main barriers observed by experts when working together include human factors, resistance to change, and distrust among competitors, as well as operational and technological challenges related to system integration.

The solutions proposed to address the future challenges of the sector include leadership transformation through trust-based partnerships and the standardization and adoption of collaborative technological platforms.

This focus group is part of a study being conducted by the Sustainability Observatory of UPF-BSM in collaboration with CargoOn. The results of this study will be presented in June at SIL Barcelona International Logistics Fair.

The meeting was moderated by professors Oriol Montanyà and Andrei Boar and featured participation from experts such as Maximiliano Martín Vallve, Sales Director at CargoOn; Victor Escanciano, Logistics and IT Director at Condis; Beatriz Alvarez, Supply Chain Director at Unilever; Gustavo Rocafort, Customer Supply Chain Director at Nestlé; Jorge Sevillano, Customer & Patient Solutions Director at Danone; Elisabeth Ribera, External Relations Manager at Mercadona; Silvia Marín, Logistics Director at Frit Ravich; Núria Piñol, Board Member at ICIL; and Jordi Obach, General Manager at 3LG Logistics. Additionally, the event was attended by José M. Martínez-Sierra, General Director of UPF-BSM, and Antoine Bertrandy, CEO of CargoOn.
