Women's Networking Session at BizBarcelona Entrepreneurs' Fair 2011

On 16 and 17 June the BizBarcelona Entrepreneurs' Fair took place at the Fira de Barcelona, aimed at offering entrepreneurs and companies solutions for creating, financing, building business, as well as company internationalisation and innovation. The event was attended by over 13,300 people.

Pompeu Fabra University was in attendance, presenting its Xarxa d'Emprenedoria Universitària (XEU) initiative, aimed at promoting activities through a range of conferences such as this. Mònica Alonso, Managing Director of the Barcelona School of Management, gave a speech entitled “Story telling from a true young entrepreneur”, during which she talked about the experiences and expertise of four young entrepreneurs.

On 6 and 7 October, plans are in place to hold the next Women's Networking Session at BizBarcelona Entrepreneurs' Fair at the Barcelona School of Management, again with participation from the Xarxa d'Emprenedoria Universitària (XEU). The event will give young entrepreneurs the opportunity to share their own experiences and knowledge with the audience.
