Alberto obtained his PhD from the University of Bologna. He is a Marie Curie Post-Doctoral fellow at ESSEC Business School, in Paris. He is on leave from the Department of Economics and Business of UPF, holding a tenure-track assistant professor position. His main research interests are in the field of Operational Research and Machine Learning.
