GSK CHAIR, NORTH (NEW TERRITORIAL AND ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITIES AND CHALLENGES) IN HEALTHCARE MANAGEMENT

UPF-BSMGSK CHAIR, NORTH (New Territorial and Economic Opportunities and Challenges) in Healthcare Management

The GSK Chair in Healthcare Management at UPF-BSM aims to generate systematic knowledge about health economics and transfer it to the stakeholder groups involved in decision-making.

Among the planned activities, a discussion forum among experts on the purchase and financing model of medicines, called "North Forum (New Territorial and Economic Opportunities and Challenges) in healthcare management," will be organized. Additionally, a working document will be prepared summarizing the discussion, reflections, and topics addressed at the forum to contribute to the transfer of knowledge on the subjects discussed.

Objectives

  • Analyze new opportunities for improvement in healthcare management within the National Health System (SNS).
  • Reflect on international reference experiences with various stakeholder groups.
  • Transfer this knowledge to professionals involved in decision-making.
