One of the objectives of the UPF Barcelona School of Management (UPF-BSM) is to ensure planetary well-being in our daily lives. The school has been working for years to make our building as sustainable as possible, but there is always room for improvement. For this reason, this year at UPF-BSM we have joined the Energy Marathon project for energy saving promoted by the Catalan Institute of Energy.
The Energy Marathon is an awareness and good practices campaign in the use and consumption of energy in buildings and public facilities, which aims to achieve energy savings and allocate the resulting economic savings to actions against energy poverty.

This initiative will be carried out in the month of February, jointly with other public and private institutions, among which there are 18 public buildings and facilities of the Generalitat de Catalunya.
Throughout the month of February, actions will be promoted that involve the reduction of energy and water demand, promoting sustainable mobility and the reduction of emissions. Over four weeks, the entire UPF-BSM community will be involved in this initiative.
The first week is focused on electricity, the second on air conditioning, the third on water and the last on emissions.
