Silvia Calzón, former student, new Secretary of State for Health of Spain

Last August, Silvia Calzón, a former student of the Online Master's Degree in Health and Medicine Economics, was appointed Secretary of State for Health of Spain.Silvia Calzón has a PhD from the University of Granada, a Master's in Public Health and Health Management from the Andalusian School of Public Health and a Master's in Health and Medicine Economics from the UPF-Barcelona School of Management.

She has held the position of manager of the South of Córdoba and South of Seville Sanitary Management Areas of the Andalusian Health Service and she was working a primary care epidemiologist in Seville.
